We can clean windows in nearly all weather conditions, including below freezing. However, to ensure customer satisfaction and the safety of our workers, we will usually reschedule during inclement weather such as rain or snow.
Gutters will need to be serviced in dry, above freezing conditions. If the debris or trapped water in your gutters is frozen, we will not be able to clean them properly.
If weather effects your service, we will reschedule you for the next available time slot that fits your availability. -
As standard home maintenance, you should clean your gutters at least twice a year. Depending on what sort of foliage you have near your home (such as pine trees), you may want to clean once every three months.
When gutters or downspouts are blocked by debris, they do not allow for proper drainage, which could lead to water damage on not only the exterior but also the interior of your home. -
Our window cleaning process is as follows:
1) We inspect your windows for existing damage or cosmetic issues and bring the findings to your attention.
2) We remove screens (if stationary) and set them aside to be cleaned, if that service is requested.
3) We then wet your windows with an applicator, dipped in a Dawn dish soap and water mixture to remove dirt, cobwebs, and more. NOTE: Construction Scrubs, New Builds, or heavily soiled windows may require the use of a very fine steel wool and razor blade scraping. If that is the case, or the request, there will be an upcharge per window based on window size, type and accessibility. Price will be determined upon estimate. We also ask that you sign a waiver prior to scraping, as there is a small chance damage can occur to the glass.
4) We then remove all water from the window, using a squeegee and a little bit of artistry.
5) Next we remove all excess water from frames, seals and ledges.
6) Lastly, after your screens have been cleaned and dried, we will re-insert them into the proper window. -
Most estimates can be completed without you being present. If you have a special request or need to alert us of something inside your home or building (such as chandelier cleaning, light bulb replacements, etc), we ask that you be present.
